Newspaper

I was the founding art director of this start-up, national newspaper launched in Portugal in 2009. The Society for News Design selected the paper as the World’s Best-Designed in 2010. The paper also was named European Newspaper of the Year by the European Newspaper Awards, and twice was named newspaper of the year by the Society for News Design’s Spanish and Portuguese chapter.

This video exemplifies what made i a great newspaper: the willingness to pursue great ideas in order to surprise its readers.
